MacBook Air Battery Issue

Hello All,

I am having a weird battery issue with a MacBook Air. My MB wasn't starting so I bought a new battery and installed it. So it worked and started. Then it wouldn't start again. I know its not the battery. It starts from the mains without the battery connected. However, sometimes its starts with the battery on the mains. So if its not the battery what else could it be? Could it be the connector that is on the logic board that connects to the battery? Has anyone else faced this issue?
