I'm looking to getting my first MBA! I'm very excited. The new price is a bit too steep so I have been looking at used ones. There is this one that caught my attention.

Rev. C MBA, 1.86GHz, 2GB, GeForce 9400m. Mint with absolutely no scratches. Battery health 9x%, roughly 4 hours charge. HD upgraded to RunCore Pro IV SSD 128GB (originally $459 USD). No warranty remaining. Owned by 1.1 years.

$925USD. Is that good? Considering the MBA is 1.1 years old and may be due for an upgrade soon.

For the air alone, a grand might be kinda high.
But that SSD definitely sweetens the deal. Aren't they still super pricey?

Yeah the SSD is $4xx USD new. The Air is $1500 new. Technically the laptop is worth $2100 new after tax.

The question becomes "is it worth it? is the value still worth $9xx?"

Only you can answer to that question. If you need/want MBA, then that sounds like a decent deal, especially with the SSD. The biggest downside IMO is the lack of warranty.

BTW, you can get a refurbished MBA with 128GB SSD for 1349$. It's 400$ more but it comes with warranty
