MacBook Air DJ Track Pad

I'm wondering if Apple has allowed developers use the trackpad for there applications?
If so, has ANYONE heard of a DJ spinner for the MBA,
like you can spin the record with fingers from the large trackpad?
It's a cool concept, so why hasn't one done it? Or have they?
Or they can't!
