Hello,
I have a strange issue with my macbook air A1466 early 2015. I use it a lot and usually just close lid. When I want to work 15 minutes or half an hour later it starts to login screen immediately after I open the lid. However, if I left it closed over night, in the morning when I open the lid nothing happens, just like it is turned OFF.
After pressing power button I can hear the fan, but there is no picture. I need to press power on button for a few seconds in order to shut down and after that I can start normally by pressing on power button. This is not battery issue, because in many cases the battery was over 50%.
I'm not sure, but if it is possible that the laptop after some time goes to hibernation state or something similar?
I mean, what is the difference if I open the lid after 15 minutes or after 5 hours?
I have tried to perform NVRAM reset, but I'm not sure I've done it correctly.
Immediately after pressing POWER ON button, I press Command +Option+P+R (at this time I hear chime sound) and hold these buttons, but the laptop starts normally. I'm probably doing something wrong.
