Hello,

I have a Macbook Air (Late 2010) High Sierra 10.13.6 that doesn't want to restart no more. The only way to stop the Macbook is to force stop everytime. It is been happening since I've tried to do the latest update (13.1.2) 2 weeks ago. The Macbook froze then and I have to force stop it since then.

I did talk with Apple support, lovely person but I have the feeling he didn't quite know what he was doing. Of course, he told me my macbook was quite old and probably at the end of his life... But other than the fan being more often on it works perfectly fine and, mostly, I am dirt poor and cannot afford **** so I have to live with it still otherwise I would have bought a new one already!

Anyone has any idea what's going on here?

Thank you!

Back up your computer if you need to save any important files, and then try rebooting into Command+R to wipe the drive and reinstall the operating system. That should correct your current problem, unless there is an ongoing hardware problem with your Mac that initiated the problem to begin with.
