macbook air - external optical drive question.

Hey guys,

Just a quick question. I read somewhere before that to install bootcamp via a direct bootable cd, it could only be made through Apple's Superdrive.

The thing is that i have a samsung external optical drive. Will it be bootable?
I don't want to install windows through a USB.

USB will be faster install.

As far as I know any external optical drive should work just fine. Not quite sure ... I did the USB route. Once you are done with the USB install you can reformat and use it later for whatever else you want.
