Macbook air extremely hot when playing games

Bought the frozen byte bundle. However, after playing Trine for several seconds, my 2011 Mac Air 13 gets extremely hot. The keyboard was burning my fingers and the CPU temperature went above 90. The Fan was going like crazy. Is it normal for the MBA to get so worked up for such a trivial game?

If the game taxes your CPU/GPU a lot, then yes, it will get hot. Try to figure out the CPU usage while gaming.
