It is my first MacBook air and I am wondering about the flexibility of this notebook. Everytime I put my hands on the palmrest or use the trackpad, I can see it flex a bit. I would say it is normal (regarding the thickness), but it is kind of scary ;) Do you guys also notice it ?

How much do your hands weigh? The MacBook Air is pretty solidly built and you shouldn't be seeing flex.

Normal weight I guess ;)
I mean I can see it flex a bit (say 1 mm) when I look sideways.

in my opinion after using hp / compaq notebook, the flex you've experience is subliminal. i've single handedly hold my mba with my thumb and two fingers and i feel the whole thing is rock solid. Yes, there might be a flex, but if you're always looking at that, you probably bought the laptop for a wrong reason.

Thanks guys for the replies.
I am sorry if this was a silly question ...
Take care.

Nothing silly, I understand you are caring for your new mba. Don't worry you bought a quality product ;)
