Hi,

I have the new 1.86Ghz SSD and everything was great until this:
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/615227/

Basically the lid was closed with a USB 3G dongle attached. Although my Air came back to life the USB Dongle was no longer recognised. I restarted just fine for the rest of that day. The next morning however, it hangs on the Apple Logo with the grey gear spinning. Single User mode works, Safe Boot does not and fsck -fy reports no problems. In Verbose mode I can see it hangs after this:

ALF ALERT: sockwall_cntl_updaterules ctl_enqueuedata rts err 55
localhost /usr/sbin/ocspd[69] Starting...

From the Mac Pro I can mount the drive (so I've managed to save my data).

Before I attempt to re-install OSX (I don't know if it's going to see the Remote Disk at this stage), is there anything else I should try?

Thanks!
