Hi

I have an 11" Macbook Air with a 64GB SSD. I want to install Windows and Im looking at options to save SSD space.

If I was to install Windows itself on an external device, HDD, or memory stick, is it recommended, horribly slow? Whats best option?

Secondly, ignoring where Windows is installed, is there a big slow down installing applications on a external device? Understandably loading time for said application will slow down, but wile actually running will it have issues?

Hope you can help, thanks.

what I do for my mac is that I saved the windows 7 file on my flash drive, but it wont run it off the flash drive so i have to pull it onto the desktop to run it. But afterwords I delete it to save space.

The thing is you will still need room to throw windows back in and also this is me using VMWare Fussion. I am not sure how you would go about doing this with bootcamp, if that is even possible.
