Hi I saw a used macbook air 2020 i7 16/256g for usd650 battery cycle only 10 and still under apple care till early 2020. Is it a good deal or should i get the M1 air 8/256g for the same price? I want to use parallel for some light apps but I've heard the fans on the intel ones kicked in quite frequently. Which one is better for running parallels intel i7 16G or M1 8G?
Thanks

The M1 will only run ARM versions of Windows 10/11 and there's no BootCamp mode, so you have that to consider.

Either way, 256GB of storage might be small for running a bunch of VMs.
