Hi guys, my battery health is 99. My cycle is 32. I got it on 9 Nov 2022. My screen time is usually between 4-6 hours. I think there is a problem with my battery. When I boot into safe mode it goes better on average. With the two modes, it decreases more slowly in the same normal use. What is the reason of this?

In safe mode your background apps don't run. This I would expect. Check to see what activity monitor is saying is using a lot of battery. (energy tab)

4-6 hours of screen on time, consisting of what? My wife can get anywhere from 3 to 14 hours of screen on time on her M1 MBA depending on what she is doing.

I don't know, I think there is a problem with my computer. It's over too fast. I called Apple on the phone. We've done a hardware test from the diagnostics but haven't found any issues with the battery. But we decided on software. Same problem in ventura, same event in monterey

You don't know what you are doing on the device? We cannot help you without know what you are doing on the device. As the poster above me said, look at the energy tab in Activity Monitor. If you could post a screenshot here that would help us. Otherwise, we are in the dark.

Okey,

Usually Saferi 4 tabs. Spotify and whatsapp are open below. Brightness 30-40%. And Xcode is open in the background. I am an iOS developer. My computer with my old macbook air m1 8gb was getting 12 hours of screen time at exactly the same workload (97 battery health 105 cycles.). but even though i'm new to this, i get lower even in normal jobs.

Below are the photos.....

I'm not seeing your issue. Based on your screenshots you are getting getting 5-15+ hours of screen on time. On the 13th you got 12 hours on 50% of energy use.

In your activity monitor screenshot, it shows2 hours on battery, with an estimated 7 hours remaining at 63%. If you are experiencing high battery drain, it must be from whatever you are doing, such as Xcode. Everything looks normal.

It shows that much because I put it on the charger twice on the 13th of the month

But even so, the energy use is only 50%. If it was extraordinarily high, it would show 100%+. For example, on the 17th, I used 140% energy for 12 hours of screen on time.

Based on what you're showing us, I don't see anything out of the ordinary. Maybe screenshot activity monitor on a day you are using XCode? Because that's not showing up in the last 24 hours worth of use. Your Safari use is a little high at 27%. But that's very dependent on what you are doing.
