I have this Macbook Air M1 with display damage by a drop.
The display isn't cracked, but when opened looks like the attached picture (pink artifacts everywhere).
However, when opened at a certain angle, the display is just fine.
So I'm thinking it's either a lose connector or a broken cable.
Any ideas how to fix it, or if it can be fixed at all (I don't really want to buy a new screen).

The broken ribbon cable probably dust pinched the ribbon cable in the display gap bottom of the screen. You will need to replace the entire screen.

When you drop it, the soldering pads on the display board get torn. This means a lot of work to repair it.

Technically, yes the cable can be replaced. But it's unlikely you'll find a shop with the skills to fix it.
