Hello, I've had my MacBook Air M1 for a bit more than a month and the trackpad has stopped working for 3 times now. It becomes completely non responsive, and it happens after opening the shell. It doesn't work, and there's no haptic feedback.

The first time I reinstalled the OS completely, it helped. The second time I've had an appointment in Apple Store, and the issue was fixed instantly when the guy plugged in his device to run the Apple Store version of diagnostics.

Safe Mode doesn't help it.

Nothing shows on diagnostics, either in Apple Store or the one I've run with Command D in Startup options. It makes me think it's some weird software issue. I've updated to 12.3.1.

I'm not keen on reinstalling the whole system again or going to Apple Store if not necessary. Is there a way to run the Apple Store style diagnostic, without going there?

Or maybe someone else also had this issue? I wasn't able to find it by searching the forums.
