Hi all,

A few quick questions.

I have a MacBook Air (2015) and am about to move to the M1 Air. I use it both as a laptop and desktop replacement.

1. Will I need some kind of adapter to handle all my old USB accessories (mouse, external keyboard)?

2. I currently have a video adapter plugged into a port on the laptop for an external monitor. Will that still work on the new Air?

3. Finally, I do audio editing (Garageband) and some video editing (Final Cut Pro X) I usually don't have more than a few programs running at once. Will the 8GB model be sufficient, or should I go for the 16?

Thanks!

I can't help with the ram question tbh but Apple sell a USB-A to USB-C adaptor for £19.
That's great but you can only connect one USB-A device at once.
If you want to connect more than one you'd have to choose a dock.
In view of the monitor requirement you might want to go for something like a Caldigit TS3 + which will do everything you want but it's not cheap :)
