I just purchased A MacBook Air 13" M2 due to my 2017 MacBook Pro Screen Ribbon Issue. My Canon MX 432 printer works fine but the scanner no longer works. I believe it is no longer supported and no updates for Ventura have been done. Does anyone know of a solution or could you suggest a printer/scanner that will work with my new laptop.

Thanks

bummer - then i guess it's time for a new supported printer/scanner.
back in the day when i had a requirement for same, i used to like oki or fuji xerox laser.
for the simple reasons that they worked well and were relatively inexpensive to run.
unsure what is the duck's nuts in 2023 though …

I think Canon is notoriously bad for supporting their devices on the Mac. Before you buy a new scanner/printer, you might try VueScan. It claims to be able to connect to your specific printer:

Looking at the Brother MFC-J1010DW. I just use the Printer about once a week for several Pages. Use the Scanner the most. It looks like this will work for both with my MBA. Anyone use this model??

Darn I was looking at the cabin image class d570 at Best Buy. Price so right at $120

Generally, Canon doesn't support for long its past models. My Pixma MP600 still works fine (2007 model) but I have to use Vuescan (which works fine but paid) for scans and for prints you can't really find good drivers. I guess last official Mac drivers for Catalina or so.
