New to forum so please excuse any newbie issues. I have a MBA 2013 with a new battery. The machine boots and runs fine. When I attach the charger, the screen goes black until I remove the charger. Screen goes back to normal once charger is removed. It will not power on when the charger is connected. So evidently, when the charge goes down on the current battery, the machine will cease to operate. Any guidance or help with this issue would be appreciated. Thanks

make sure your charger is rated specifically to your machine specifications.
i once got a charger 45w and mine was rated 85w or thereabouts. not sure what others would say, but it wasn't long before I started having charging problems and video issues.
