Hey guys wanted to know what you guys think...

Either a:

Macbook Air 2nd Gen 1.6ghz dual core, 13 inch, 2gb DDR3. It has 2 more years of applecare warranty if it goes wrong which is good. £490

or

Macbook Pro 2.4Ghz Dual Core, 13 inch, 6GB DDR3. But it is 2 years old with no applecare. £475

What would you guys buy?

The macbook Air has more style and 2 more years of applecare incase it gets a fault. but the Macbook Pro has more brawn but no cover at all. But bear in mind that I have a Massive Gaming PC i7 2600K, 8GB Ram, Crossfire 6950's. And this laptop is only something to be used around and about and for lectures.

Thanks for any help :)

Go for the macbook air. The $15 extra for applecare is worth it. It's a less capable computer, but if something goes wrong, I'd rather have applecare to replace the computer than no computer at all. Don't get me wrong though, the macbook air is probably an ideal computer for you, since it's portable, and it has more than enough power to take notes, photoshop things, create powerpoints, etc...
