The encoding times would probably be longer on the rMB but if you are not doing it professionally I don't really see that being an issue.

Click to expand... 13" Retina MacBook Pro is fine, of course the model you'll be buying would be dependant on how much storage space you need. If you can easily put up with 128GB then the 13" rMBP would be more than adequate.
