Going to purchase the MacBook air 13" later this month.In the Cardiff store.
2.0 ghz intel dual core i7
8gb ram
256 gb flash
Uk price is £1449-00
College/school is £1362-00 with gift card
Is there a difference for university cost.Thank You

There is no difference in the actual models between the education store and the regular store. They are the same exact models in the same exact boxes. Other than the price, there is no difference.

Yes, you get more discount for university (HE) also you cannot buy build to order MacBooks in store, you need to order them online.

BTW for that build above it works out at around £1250 for HE discount
 
I'm pretty sure someone mentioned that you will have to pay for AppleCare if you buy in store. This tallies with the chat I had in the MK store.
You'll get 3 years warranty and a years telephone support for free if you order online (on HE site). You can increase the telephone support to 3 years for £48.

I've configuring my MBA to death over the past few weeks on the website. Typical discount appears to be 14% for me..
