I picked up a 1.6GHz Rev.B MacBook Air yesterday for an insanely great price, but it came without a drive of any kind. Now I know this thing uses a weird 24-pin SATA connector, but aside from that I haven't been able to find much information on it with regards to bus speeds or drive speeds themselves.

If anyone has a Late 2008 or Mid 2009 Air with either a hard drive or an SSD, it'd be much appreciated if you could whack your read/write scores down below.

I've owned a Rev.A Air in the past and that thing was horrifically crippled with it's pathetic iPod-grade PATA drives, and before splurging on a new disk I need to know what is going to give me either a better turnaround/bang for buck, or better performance (if I decide to keep it).

Cheers.
