Macbook Air Rev B

I have the opportunity to buy a new, unused Macbook Air 1.6ghz Rev B machine for $500 dollars.

My only concern is with the hinge. It seems super sturdy but I've heard people have had issues, mostly with Rev A though. Was this fixed with Rev B?

Also is this a good price?

That is a very good price for new especially, and you should have nothing to worry about w/ the hinge.

Hinge was fixed in rev C, but there's a standing service bulletin, so if you have the issue, they will fix it. IMHO, I wouldn't buy it for 500, as the newer 11s can be had for 650-700 on eBay and still under warranty, etc.

Key thing: New and sealed. Worth it alone.
