Macbook air screen issue. Stage light

this is my issue. mid 2011 macbook air 11inch
1.6 GHz i5, 2GB ram, lion 10.7.4

I noticed those black bits this morning, and i believe they weren't there yesterday. I believe this is referred to as 'stage light' issue,
although after hours of google search, i couldn't find it happening
on macbook air.

Macbook is 27 weeks old, 60 battery load cycle.
purchased in USA, but i moved to Turkey now.

Is there anything i can do at home to fix this issue?
or do i need to fight with turkish apple resellers (there is no official apple store in turkey meaning all customer service is private, which costs tons)

Since it is still under warranty, you should get it fixed at an Apple store or authorized dealer. If that is not an option, I would call Apple support and ask them where to send it.

interesting, my old 2008 mbp also have it occasionally. Sometimes i can definitely see those uneven lights, but they disappeared if i let the computer rest =\ and don't know what triggers them. I'll be following your case then.
