First post for me ^^
attached is the picture of what happened to my macbook air :(
any thoughts what could have caused that and how to solve it?

If you want any kind of assistant you have to come clean and don't even suggest this happened spontaneously.
 
Based on the partial fractilisation of the screen, the fact that even in a lower resolution photo we can see warping of the frame and the screen itself, this highly looks like accidental damage due to handling. This usually only can result from a drop of probably at least a few feet, and landing on a corner.
