MacBook Air screen stays black with external monitor (macOS Catalina 10.15.4)

When I connect my new MacBook Air to an external display (USB-C Hub to HDMI) the MacBook screen stays black. The external display works but I can’t set second screen. Running macOS Catalina 10.15.4. Anyone with a solution?
