I'm really interested in MB Air but it's little bit expensive toy for me. Do you think there are any chances for a price cut (after releasing the second generation)?

Well, a price drop has already occurred in the last few months, so I see another price drop as a distinct possibility this Tuesday, considering a new one will be released, or else quietly updated.

i'd just like to point out that no one knows for sure that the Air will even be updated. the majority of the rumors concentrate around new Macbooks and Macbook Pros.

Ok, but it's more than 250 days after the MBA release. I think it's time for an update.

On the flip side, the MacBooks and MacBook Pros are set for a redesign, while the MacBook Air is supposed to be an update at best.

Tell that to the Mac Mini crew. I'm hopeful for an update too, I'm just reminding people it's not guaranteed or it could be something as minor as an SSD size bump.

The MacBook Air is due for an update. Intel has better CPUs available.
And as I have said before, I think it's gonna start at around 1499$.
