Hello. I just bought a Macbook Air Superdrive and I wanted to know if I can use it on my iMac and how. When I plug it in, it does nothing. Is there a way to fix this?

No - the MacBook Air superdrive is only compatible on the MacBook Air - it is recognised by the computer but is not accessible. I think it's a firmware thing, only a MacBook Air has the required info (and it's split between the MacBook Air and the drive so you can't simply copy over a setting) to read/write to the drive.
No, the reason is that the MacBook Air has a special USB port that allows more power to go to the superdrive. The iMac will recognize it, but the drive will not work because it can't get enough power to operate and there is no workaround for this.
