Macbook air sync like iPad

Hi. I am thinking abut buying a MacBook Air instead of my iPad and is wounding if it there is any way to sync it in iTunes on my Mac mini like I used to do with my iPad.

No, there's not any way to do it from within itunes.

Closest you'll get to "seamless" syncing like an ipad is using itunes match (or other service) to sync music/movies, use all icloud-enabled apps, and also use something like google drive to sync other documents.
