MacBook Air WiFi Hotspot

Hi,
When I'm at school I use school WiFi on my iPhone instead of cellular data, but somehow in school library, my phone can't seem to find/detect school WiFi while my MacBook Air can. So I am trying to find a way to connect my iPhone to the Internet through my MacBook Air if it can somehow expand the signal or share the connection through USB?
