Macbook air Wireless N with Airport Extreme

How is the wireless connectivity working with "older" airport extreme N routers? I read an article about the possibility that the router would not work? Does that sound crazy?

i don't see why it won't work and i belive it's using the same draft N as the current macbooks
it uses the same os comes with 10.5.1

that would be really piss me off if it doesn't lol

I have the original Airport Extreme N router and I've never had any problems with it. Turned on my MacBook Air and it found the network immediately.
