MacBook Air with retina in 2014?

I've been holding back on getting a MacBook Air cause I would really like Retina display. I am hoping with the iPad Mini now coming with retina, it will be the standard for all Apple products moving forward.

Certainly possible, but what would be the difference between 13" MBA with retina and a 13" rMBP?

I think the tech question would be battery life and weight.

However the 13" MBA is so nice and light I don't mind the lack of Retina.

The new IGZO panels are more energy efficient than the ones used in the current MBA...
