Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any advice for the issue I'm having with my macbook air.
I recently got my logic board replaced and since then my macbook air will not load any webpages unless I am sat literally next to the router. Network diagnostics doesn't find any issues as the computer is still connected to the wifi (with full bars in the top right corner), it just starts to load a webpage and then never finishes.
Here are some of the things I have tried:
- Changing the router channel
- Changing the DNS settings
- Buying a new router
- Assigning a static IP to the macbook in both the router settings and macbook settings
- Updating my macbook to the most recent operating system
- Trying it with someone else's wifi
I have complained and sent my macbook back to the apple repair centre (as it originally came back with charging issues also) but they said it worked fine on their wifi, which potentially makes sense if their router was in the same room as the macbook air at the time it was being tested.
I never had any problems with connecting to the internet before my logic board was replaced so could this be the source of the issue?
Thanks
