My friend is selling a macbook air mid 2013 13" screen with 1.7ghz core i7, and 8gb of ram and 230 gb of storage for $325. I was wondering if this was worth the buy. Don't need anything really new or fancy.

That's a ridiculously good deal assuming nothing is wrong with it. That sort of machine still goes for around $1000.
