in my new macbook 12 inch which is up to date with all updates with El Capitan, when i try to connect it with samsung tv via HDMI cable, and play any video it shows the video in superb quality but sound jerks a lot like 2 seconds play and then 2 seconds silent and it continues through out the time. what is the issue? i am using apple USB-C adaptor not the local market or third party adaptors. Please help

If you are connecting via HDMI, then why are you using airplay for audio?

Whilst the macbook is connected via HDMI, drag your cursor over the volume control in the top menu bar, hold alt and click it.

You should see HDMI audio, or digital audio or something.
