Macbook Alu unibody

I have a Macbook unibody 13 that was intoduced late 2008.
The design is the same as the actually macbook pro.
I`m thinking of selling it to get the new macbook pro 13, mainly for it´s battery. Apple claims it would take up to 10 hours.
Could someone please confirm this.

Confirm what? Yes, some people have gotten up to 10 hours but the real world battery life is around 8 hours though some people can barely get 4 hours (defective battery?)
