Occasionally my Alu Macbook won't wake up from sleep. The keyboard backlight comes on, but the display won't wake. Sometimes the machine is quite hot and the fans are blasting too. Only a power cycle will fix it and then there's a message about OS X restarting unexpectedly.

Any ideas?

Thanks :)

If it's hot then it didn't go to sleep correctly. Make sure you have all your updates installed, and check other threads for info about sleep (how it's affected by bluetooth, usb, etc)..

The hot thing has only happened a couple of times. Mainly it looks normal. All updates installed and its not been doing anything more taxing recently than browsing the web!

Nope. Most of the time when it does this its only been used for browsing the web and email while lounging around on the sofa.
