Macbook aluminium wakes from sleep mode

Hello everyone.

Suddenly my new macbook aluminium have started to wake up from sleep mode when the lid is down.

It goes into sleep, and then it wakes up again and back to sleep and wakes up again.

I have tried to restart SMC, and i have unchecked bluetooths ability to wake up the computer and the ethernets ability to do so.

Could anyone please help me out with this problem?

Do you have an apple remote. They work on IR not blutooth so it could be that.

It is nothing like that.

It is so that when I shut the lid, it goes into sleep for 3 seconds, then it makes a strange sound like it is starting again and then it turns it self on. This goes on in loop.

Will it help to format the mac?
