Hello, i have a 13 inch macbook and i cant set a simpsons dvd to wide screen,
i try view enter full screen but its not set as wide screen, also i try window video zoom and the screen go wide but its not wide screen because the uper part of the video goes out the screen.

I try it in a compaq with windows and the dvd work good in wide screen so its not a dvd problem.

how can i set a wide screen in the defoult dvd player of the mac?

thank you

Could it be that the different machines have different height to width ratios on the display? When I play a Ghost Hunters DVD on my HP Windows XP machine it fills the screen completely but on the 13 inch Mac it doesn't reach from side to side. The reason is the height to width ratio on the 2 displays are different. My HP has a TV sized display and the Mac has a wide screen display.

If you are watching Simpson's episodes I'd bet they are in the TV ratio so unless you distort the picture or run it off the top and bottom it just won't reach the sides. Hope this helps.
