Hi,

I've had my black macbook for nearly 2 years know and its feels like its slowly dying a painful death. Had it fixed recently because the memory failed but now it keeps telling me to restart everytime i turn it oon not even getting past the grey loading up screen. This happened after i was unable to load all the software it wanted to.
If anyone has experienced this problem or has any possible solution before the repair shop take my money it would be greatly appreciated.

Josh

Have you tried inserting the OS X Install Disc (1) during boot and booting into the Apple Hardware Test to make sure your computer is able to boot completely from the HDD?

Actually saying that, have you tried booting the computer whilst holding option and selecting your hard drive. If it then flashes a 'no' sign (circle with a slash) then it is unable to boot from the hard drive.
