Hi,

Hope someone can help...

I'm a musician and want to use my mac book on stage. Which amplifier would you recommend for a good sound that I can connect to the laptop? I need something easy-ish to carry around.

Hi. Are you plugging it into a PA system? What's your budget?

I can spend a few hundred. Not sure how much exactly. I just need something that plugs into the laptop either through cable or bluetooth and that gives good bass etc without sounding distorted

Your best bet is to buy an Acoustic guitar amplifier. Marshall do a really nice sounding one for about $200-$250. I used to have one for my Taylor guitar and it sounded amazing. Acoustic Guitar amps are often the choice for keyboard players too because of their good quality sound including excellent bass.

cool. and it will just plug straight into a port on my laptop?

Yeah, there's a couple of options with the Marshall. It has the standard 1/4" Jack which you would need a 1/4" Jack to Mini Jack cable (available at most music stores) or they have a phono connector so again you'd just get the 2 phono to mini jack cable. (both of these cables are standard cables).

Hope I've been able to help :)
