I know most people know the Macbook is not a true gaming machine due to the lack of a separate video card, however I thought I would still try the Bioshock demo to see if it would run at the lowest settings. I really should have known this, but the demo wouldn't even run. I kept getting a microsoft error while trying to start the demo using a black MacBook with 2.16 ghz and 2gb of ram. I hope this helps someone else thinking about testing the demo on their MacBook...it just won't work.

thanks for confirming

;) Thanks, I saw that link but wasn't sure if they were being literal about it or just assuming it wouldn't work. They were right! That's fine because my Macbook wasn't purchased for gaming specifically.

Hi,

BioShock demo & full game works on all Intel machines apart from ones with the Intel GMA cards so sadly your Black MacBook is not supported. The newer MacBooks (and minis) with the NV 9400 integrated solution are supported as are all iMacs, MacBookPros and MacPros.
