Macbook and Macbook Pro question

are the macbook and the macbook pro the same size? Im wondering if a macbook pro case will fit on the original macbook. I went to the Apple website to see the size comparison but they no longer have the macbook on the site any more.

Check Apple's refurbished online store. They still sell the white MacBooks through there so the specs are listed there as well.

yess they do fit, some of the cases say for macbook and macbook pro

The MacBook was 13" and the MacBook Pro comes in 13", 15". and 17"
Some may fit, but make sure it says that they are for both and if you are unsure ask a staff member.

I just had a look.

White MacBook Specs:

• Height: 1.08 inches (2.74 cm)
• Width: 13.00 inches (33.03 cm)
• Depth: 9.12 inches (23.17 cm)

MacBook Pro 13" Specs:

• Height: 0.95 inch (2.41 cm)
• Width: 12.78 inches (32.5 cm)
• Depth: 8.94 inches (22.7 cm)

Any 13.3" laptop case would do, however if your buying specific 'MacBook' or 'MacBook Pro 13"' case then I would buy the appropriate one.
