Hey there y'all,

So I have a macbook pro that is often out with me. What stays at home for the Mrs is the mini.

I also have two apple cinema displays - aluminum - not thunderbolt.

When I get home, I plug my macbook into the displays to do my work. When I leave, back to the mini. One display has all the usb stuff attached (hd and keyboard)

Now, the issue is the constant plug in, unplug, plug in, unplug. And with the hd, an eject or shutdown is also needed.

Anyone have a suggestion to simplify this process?

Thanks everyone!

Thanks for the suggestion, but my macbook is much more powerful to do my work, so both are needed.

Thinking more like a monitor switcher, but they cost too much, they seem to go for like $250

Hoping there is some more hardware or software options out there.
