Macbook and netflix?

I have a 2ghz macbook CD2 with 4gb of ram, and netflix just seems to stall my computer. It will eat up my processor, and get really choppy. I've uninstalled and reinstalled quicksilver and have tried safari, firefox, and chrome.

My wii on the same network plays netflix flawlessly.

Any advice?

I'm not sure what quicksilver is, but make sure you have Microsoft Silverlight

I am running lion, yes, I am fully upgraded on quicksilver

You mean that the movies stop and you get kicked back to the reloading screen with the bar? Are you sure it's not your internet connection?

no, it just stalls a lot. The buffer bar has no problem loading a lot of the show, however it will just stutter when playing, where it will take several seconds to play 1 second of the show.
