I just bought an aluminum macbook and am trying to connect to my wireless internet but am unsuccessful. I have a netgear WGR614 model. I have mac address access list as security on my router and have added my address to the list. Now my macbook can see the router and i can try to connect to it. but i have no internet access? Any ideas?

hmm... i think i added the airport MAC address and not the ethernet, but it is possible that i did add ethernet because i am new to os x. Can you point me to where i can find the airport address to make sure i am entering the right mac address?

Ok i just went back and double checked and am now posotive i have entered my airport id not my ethernet. Thanks, any other ideas?
