Any macbook users out there use photoshop heavily? Considering the Macbook over the Macbook Pro, but I do use photoshop heavily and don't want to run into problems with the integrated Intel GMA 950.

Also, any thoughts on how the macbook will perform with the universal release of photoshop in 2007?

Thanks,
Chad

i dont own a macbook, but i think if you give it enough ram (2GB), it'll run PS fine. since it's 2D, i dont think there'll be any problem with the graphic card.

It's ****** now, but I think it will be fine, and plus, the gma950 has little to do with photoshop...

When the UB comes out u'll be flyin'. If your a serious photographer, the glossy screen should be your main concern.

i have a white macbook 2ghz 1 gig ram and use photoshop alot. It doesnt fly but once it is a UB it will. The speed it definatly faster than my 1.42 ghz g4 with 512 ram though. If you need it really soon youmight want the 2 gig of ram. Adobe likes ram. Alot. Good luck

Thanks everyone...this makes my decision a little easier...but there are just o' so many options...hrm...

I have a 2Ghz 2GB ram MacBook and run Photoshop on it. It's really a pain in the butt running it under Rosetta (emulation). It becomes laggy and the fans are whirring away like jet engines.

I'm sure when, some time next year  , Adobe release CS3 Photoshop will be fine on the MB.
