So, I recently bought a MacBook BlackBook in April 2007 from Futureshop. Awesome system, much better than my old windows haha.
Unfortunately, I bought Sibelius a few days ago. This went badly. Upon trying to install said program, the file copy/install failed after about 75% with a message saying that "file" could not be read or written (error -36).
I sent an email to tech-support, and their reply told me that some older Macs cannot read the density of Sibelius disks. They can send me a lower density disk to allow me to install the program. So problem solved.
But I was just wondering, how recent is this new high-density disk? Anyone else have this problem? Or is my MacBook damaged or something?
Thanks in advance.
