Hello Mac Fans

Ive got a serious problem, my apple macbook will not work, it is only showing the white apple startupscreen and that is all. i left it for a whole day and still no hope so it wasnt due to sluggish processing. Ive tried everything the Option + v and the restore disk, but i cant get to load the disk as it isnt even letting me get to the user logon.

If anyone knows what to do, i would be greatly in debt to you.
Please if anyone knows i would be more than greatful as the files on my mac are very precious to me.

Cheers

Greg

try booting your mac up with the osx install disc inside the drive and see if you can install it right from there..im not sure if this will work, and before all you people jump on me, im just offering the guy a little advice as to what i think might work. Its just a suggestion. My apologies if im wrong. Btw, i know this wont hurt your mac in anyway so it may be worth a shot. you could always call apple and have them walk you through it if that would make you more comfortable.
