So I've recently upgraded to a MacBook from a 4 year old Rev. A 15" Aluminum PowerBook. I always used the PowerBook in clamshell mode because even at the Cinema Display's lowest brightness, the PowerBook couldn't quite match brightness and I found it too jarring, to switch focus between screens. Naturally, I've been running the MacBook in clamshell mode too, because that's what I'm used to doing. Today, I decided to give screen spanning a shot, and I've found that with both the MacBook and the 14 month old Aluminum 23 inch ACD match pretty well, even if the colors on the MacBook are a little off due to the glossy screen.
Score one point for the new MacBook, I'd recommend it to anyone!
