My MacBook Pro constantly attempts to connect to my Mac Pro. I can not find an application responsible and as far as I can tell, I have no references to the mac pro. I last connected to the tower to pull over some data. I disconnected and shut down my mac pro before leaving town.

The Message:
"There was a problem connecting to the server "Mac Pro".

Any ideas on how I can resolve this?

Open System Preferences->Users & Groups, "Logon Options" (bottom of the left hand pane) and make sure it is not set to join a Domain. Plus in the same Users & Groups pane click on "Login items" mini-tab and make sure the drive is not in your startup items.

So that damn message is back. Seems to start if my MBP is sleep for a while. I had the MBP sleep since Friday, and the messages appeared as soon as I logged in. All the same apps are open.. so I don't see a pattern with this at all.
